The Resident Clothing Program at FDR Services has been designed toensure that our customer’s resident clothing is processed and handled with highest level of care. The procedures and processing guidelines that we have put together are geared towards the goal of ensuring the satisfaction of our customers and their residents by promoting the confidence that their personal clothing will be returned and handled with care.

Color and Bar Coded Net Bags
Each resident bed is provided with color coded net bags and one laundry hamper.  The net bags are each bar coded with the name of the facility, room and bed number.  The net bags become the property of the room and are not to be transferred. 

Pick-Up & Delivery
The color codednet bags are to be securely pinned, collected and transported to thesoiled storage area where they are placed in bins for pick up by FDR. Clean, processed clothing is returned neatly folded in a heat sealed plastic package or on hangers with the bar coded identification flag clearly visible on top,displaying the name of the facility, room and bed number.

Staff In-Services
FDR provides in-service training for the facility staff to highlight the key procedures to follow for the Resident Clothing Program.  These topics include; the proper handling of the net bags, the important steps to take to ensure the return of resident clothing and the special handling of soiled clothing.
